Michael Pastor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day marketing and business development activities of CGS health, along with defining a strategic member-experience driven roadmap that delivers multimodal, effortless access to care with improved outcomes.
Mr. Pastor brings 25+ years of telecom, media, and technology entrepreneurial experience to CGS Health. Prior to co-founding CGS Health, Mr. Pastor was COO at Achieve3000, a K–12 eLearning reading comprehension and writing fluency software-as-a-service (SaaS) company. As COO, he oversaw information systems, operations, customer support, client implementation, and engineering. Previously, as President of Alliant Managed Services (AMS), he developed a comprehensive product roadmap and go-to-market strategy that evolved the company from a remote system monitoring and break-fix maintenance provider to an IT managed- and cloud-services provider selling to middle market enterprises in the Northeast.
Prior to AMS, Mr. Pastor was President of Net2Phone Cable Telephony, LLC (formerly NASDAQ: NTOP), where he led engineering, operations and a sales and marketing team that secured $170 million in contract-based revenues. He was Principal in a November 2003 roadshow underwritten by JPMorgan that raised $63 million for the company’s entry into hosted VoIP telephony for cable operators. Mr. Pastor grew the business from startup to over 100,000 subscribers and $20+ million run rate prior to company’s acquisition by IDT Telecom (NYSE: IDT).
Previous experience includes direct sales, management and business development experience with Automatic Data Processing, Bloomberg.com, and Ziff-Davis’ NetBuyer.com. Mr. Pastor completed his undergraduate studies in Chemical Engineering and Economics at the University of Colorado.
Mr. Pastor lives in Connecticut with his wife, Devon, and three children. When not following his high school/ college-aged children to a hockey rink or lacrosse field, he attempts to adhere to a Winston Churchill philosophy: “To be really happy and really safe, one ought to have at least two or three hobbies, and they must all be real.” To that end, Michael pursues fly fishing, hunting and skiing as his three ‘real’ hobbies.
